I mean, yes I love the fall.

But my body doesn’t do great with these rapidly dropping temps and I desperately need new comforters. It’s the middle of the afternoon and it’s only 11C…

So sending a free novella out in the world is an interesting experience. I love that so many people have downloaded it, I hope readers enjoy it and I can’t wait to do it again. Writing and publishing books is supposed to be fun, right?

This week, I have been back to Nick and Mulberry and no, nothing, nada. Not yet. I fear that my readers may leave me over this and I’ll probably never write another slow burn again- though never say never and all that.

There was cake in my household and the occasion for it and I have no idea what I did but it was the worst cake I have ever, ever made. It stood up and I know it was cooked but I think it was too wet, or the pans were overfilled or something. It looked fantastic and everyone had fun making it, which is really the point and hey, they got make-up cake today.

Anyways, I’m thinking I need to add more rom-coms to my TBR that involve cake and I so, so want to write a hot chef character…
