June’s last call

The math? Not my thing. That’s ARCs for Book Six…
Because clearly, I can’t count.
In yesterday’s post, I talked about Book Seven’s ARC.
Flame For Foe is book six in the Bandit Brothers series, not book seven. Thank you to the reader who asked about this (No, you didn’t miss a release!)
The Bandit Brother Series:
Book One – FLAME FOR FOE (Quinn and Simone’s story)
Book Two- FLAME FOR TWO (Xander, Harper and Logan’s story)
Book Three- FLAME AGAIN (Ivy and Gabe’s story)
Book Four – FLAME TRUE (Nick and Mulberry’s story)
Book Five – FLAME FOR CHANCE (Sasha and Finn’s story)
Book Six- FLAME FOR FOE (Kayleigh and Erik’s story, coming September 2023)
FLAME FOR A WEEKEND: A Bandit Brothers Novella (Gardenia and Dax’s story)
ARC for Book 7
Starting this week, a little bit under the weather.
Is it allergies? Is the-is-it-COVID-or-something-else-game ever not be a thing? And feeling like this, it doesn’t really matter. But I did manage to get 4k words down, so I am taking it as a win (cough, cough).
However, best-laid plans and all. If you said, “Yes, please” to ARC Book 7, Flame For Foe … I had planned to send ARCs out by the end of June but it hasn’t even made it to my proofreader yet! So the new plan is to send them out at the beginning of Sept. The release day is Sept, 27th so I’m hoping that gives readers lots of time. And if you want more lead time than that – let me know and I can get it to you sooner!
If you want to join the ARC Team, just let me know here: raleigh@raleighdamson.com . I’m pretty easy going, I just ask that you leave a review anywhere, you don’t upload it or pirate it and that you have read and reviewed one of my books previously and if you are interested in being an ARC Reader but haven’t read my books, I’m happy to make copies available to you.
Anyways, going to water the plants and take something more for this ic-cough-ick.
Hope it was a good one, friends.

In this kitchen? It’s hot.
In writing the Bandit Brothers series, I aim for variety. Different pairings. Different personalities. Different suspense plots.
I try to mix up the smexy scenes, the kink, the spice.
But when I was promoting Flame True this week, I noticed that a) it’s very hot in that kitchen and b) it’s not the only book that uses a spoon in a scene…
And it was too hot for the clock app because I forgot to cancel out the word “wet” I received a community violations ban…so that’s fun.
Here’s the scene from Flame True. It’s the morning after, and they thought it was going to be weird. Instead, they find out how comfortable they are with each other. You can buy Flame True here and I always appreciate reviews! (anywhere!)
She licked her lips. “Do something.”
“Oh? Like this?” He flicked the spoon against her inner thigh.
Mulberry grabbed the edge of the counter. “Yes.”
With a little more force, he snapped the piece of silicone against her other thigh.
“Yes!”
“Like that little snap of pain?”
He rubbed the red spot on her thigh.
Mulberry nodded her head.
“I didn’t hear you.”
“Yes! Okay, yes! I like it.”
“Good,” Nick slapped her inner thigh, bringing the spoon down with a flick of his wrist, harder than before.
He alternated her thighs, watching her expression. He beat out a solid rhythm, slapping the spoon against her thigh.
Her body hummed with pleasure, her chin dipped down to her chest, and her nipples beaded.
He struck her repeatedly with the spoon until her thighs were red.
She exhaled a shuddering breath as he pressed the spoon to her heated flush.
“Thank you.”
“My pleasure.”
He nuzzled her neck, soaking in her body’s warmth and inhaling her shampoo’s fruity scent.
Sliding the widest part of the spoon over her breasts, along her stomach, down to her pussy.
He held it against her labia for a moment.
She shook her head. “Yes.”
He gave a quick little tap.
She shrieked, her eyes open. “Again.”
Watching her hang on the brink of her orgasm, her hands coiled, her body tense, Nick flicked the spoon again, aiming right for her clit.
“Fuck, yes.”
“You’re a needy girl, aren’t you?”
“Yeah. More, please!!” She grabbed the hem of his shirt, trying to pull him closer.
“Show me how you fuck this spoon, that you’re so hungry for an orgasm that you’ll slide this into your pussy.”
He pressed his lips to hers, wrapping her fingers around the spoon’s handle.
Every ounce of blood he had rushed to his throbbing cock, as she turned the spoon sideways, holding her labia wide apart and slid the bottom half of the spoon into her pussy.
Her pussy was swollen and shiny with juices.
“Ah!” Mulberry’s brows came together, and little pants escaped her mouth.
Nick held her shoulder, steadying her, then she thrust the spoon deep into her pussy.
His thumb pressed against her hard clit, wanting her to soar higher.
Damn, this woman. She gorgeous all the time, but like this with him, in this moment, Mulberry was ethereal.
Her head flew back, her legs closed together as she screamed his name, riding the orgasm. He kept steady pressure against her clit, holding her tightly.
“Yes, give me more,” he whispered in her ear.
“Can’t…I can…oh god!” Her cheeks were pink, her eyes glassy.

Hot in the kitchen …
Happy Tuesday! Swinging by to share a snippet from Flame True, where the heat between Mulberry and Nick finally explodes right there in the kitchen!

Need a distraction? Check out these June Promos!
As the air continues to be heavy with smoke, I’m distracting myself by filling up my TBR list and needed to share these June promos with you! Plus a dark and spicy read I came across.
(And if you’re dealing with the smoke from the wildfires, sorry! Wishing you a better forecast and lots of good coping strategies)
For romance books on Kobo, Smashwords, Kobo and Kindle, check out these titles in this month’s Free Books Romance here |

For reads that are plenty steamy, check out this steamy romance read collection here
If you are looking for new authors who write spicy, check out this dark and decadent, BDSM erotica by Jessica Seaques here
What is real? What is imaginary? This is the line Jessica Seaques walks, ever since she won a commission to write erotica for the indulgence of an anonymous patron. Many of her stories are based around the strange working environment the patron provides – a bizarre, mirror-walled office where Jess liaises with his beautiful yet cruel ‘agent’ and the awkward, long-suffering receptionist. All the while, the mirrors watch as the writer gets drawn… deeper and deeper… into this eccentric world of erotic fantasy.
What is real? What is imaginary? What’s the difference? Who’s the man behind the mirror and the mystery? Through the looking glass, Jess will go… and nobody knows if she’ll make it out.
MIRROR SECRET MIRROR is dark, decadent, BDSM erotica. This book is a corrupting force, an evil seduction, a delicious poison… a trap! It’s the story of a young woman being lured, baited, manipulated… hunted, captured, enslaved. The villain is dark-eyed, devilish and dominant. The villainess is sleek, sadistic and sexy. The predators work together to ensnare their prey. This story is offensive, dishonest and depraved. It twists romance, perverts love and mocks morality.
Consider yourself warned!
Mystery Reveal and A Teaser
If you entered Ellen Mint’s Romance Grab Bag Giveaway, the reveal is now up! Check it out here
The first week of June has been like slugging through gloop – the heat, the heavy air from the wildfires – but words are getting down. Slowly but slow still counts.
This week’s Teaser Tuesday, I am sharing from Flame True, when Nick starts to realize that this fake-dating thing is getting a little too real:
She fit in his life too much. It threw him off his game. He was supposed to be her pretend boyfriend, but the truth was, she was his pretend girlfriend and being so made the life he didn’t think he wanted a comfortable fit
A new cover! A new release (ish)
Happy June!
We are in a heat wave up here and the thing about living in a place that gets a lot of cold, in a house that was built a hundred years ago…we aren’t prepared! I don’t have AC and there are no screens in our windows, so it’s a choice between wanting to be stupidly hot or wanting to be bitten by not the smexy kind of things that bite. I keep all the windows closed during the day, I have fans running everywhere and a new coffee maker that makes ice coffee is on my wish list.
This week, Mulberry and Nick’s cover got an update! I think it’s totally fab and I am so happy with how it matches the rest of the series! Check it out below.
Also in Bandit Brothers news, books 1-3 got pulled together in a box set with bonus content included – I know there are readers that like to have it all in one place and it’s kind of thrilling, to have a box set.
Hope whatever weather you are having, you’re coping just fine!
You can get Flame True here

Quinn and Simone’s, Xander, Harper and Logan’s, Gabe’s and Ivy’s stories are now here, all in one box set.

#WIP Wednesday: Can this (ex) best-friend’s little sister be a submissive?
Wednesday of a holiday week, feels long. Like we are at the start of the week and not the middle but here we are.
For this week’s #WIP Wednesday, I am sharing a snippet between Erik and Kayleigh from Flame For Foe .
Erik has asked Kayleigh to undress him, and it’s the first time she’s ever done something like that and she’s all nervous and flustered and trying to cover it up by being a smart ass and the banter between these two, sometimes drives me to distraction.
___
“I’m waiting.”
Her cool fingers brushed the plane of his stomach as her fingers fumbled for the hem of his t-shirt. Erik stopped himself from helping her. He had to grind his teeth, so he could stay still, and not pin her to the wall and throw that green shirt off of her with the ridiculous long sleeves.
“Upsie”, She said, lifting the shirt over his head.
“Saying upsie kind of ruins the seriousness of the moment; it’s not romantic.”
“You told me it didn’t have to be sexual, right? So why does it have to be romantic?” She blinked those impossibly long eyelashes at him behind her glasses, all pretend innocence reminding him of her younger self.
